WarningSum:...Blizzard Warning In Effect From Midnight Tonight To Midnight
Akst Saturday Night Northwest Of King Salmon...
Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Anchorage has issued a Blizzard
Warning...which is in effect from midnight tonight to midnight
akst Saturday night northwest of King Salmon.
* Location...northwest of King Salmon.
* Snow...little or no accumulation.
* Visibility...frequently less than one quarter mile.
* Wind...southeast wind increasing to 40 to 60 mph by midnight northwest
of King Salmon.
* Timing...blizzard conditions will develop northwest of King
Salmon by midnight tonight and persist until midnight Saturday night.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to white-out
conditions...making travel very difficult. All travel and outdoor
activity is strongly discouraged.
