Telecom Operations Manager

Nushagak Cooperative is seeking applicants for the position of Telecom Operations Manager. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent experience plus five to seven years of experience in telecom management. This individual must have good communications skills, both verbal and written.

The selected candidate would assist the CEO/GM in telecommunications and operations, focus on the day-to-day administration of all internal operations by directing activities of the communication’s division’s administration and finance operation by scheduling and assigning work, determining methods for doing work, checking quality of work, answering questions, handling personnel issues, and monitoring workflow to ensure timely completion of activities.

Comptroller

Nushagak Cooperative seeks applicants for the position of Comptroller. Minimum qualifications include BA/BS in accounting or related field; and a minimum of three years of progressive experience in telephone and/or electric system accounting or 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in business related accounting. Power Plant Operator

Nushagak Cooperative seeks applicants for the position of Power Plant Operator. Minimum qualifications include: 18 years of age or older, must have mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift 50 lbs., and a valid Alaska driver’s license.

This employee must have the ability to work independently. Rotating shift work to include weekends and holidays is required. Must be willing to work overtime. Salary range is $24.96 - $31.72 DOE.

Central Office Technician

Nushagak Cooperative seeks applicants for the position of Central Office Technician. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma and/or GED, four years of experience with a relevant technical background, and telecommunication experience is necessary. Must have and maintain a valid Alaska driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record. Metaswitch, Cisco, and Juniper certifications are preferred. This individual would be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of the telecommunications network. A CO Tech follows industry standards, best practices, and safety protocols to provide our members with reliable, high value services.

Apprentice Telephone Technician

Journeyman Lineman

Nushagak Cooperative seeks applicants for the position of Journeyman Lineman. Minimum qualifications include: must obtain or be able to obtain an Alaska Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) within thirty (30) days from the date of hire. Must possess or be able to possess the Alaska State Certification of Fitness classification for Journeyman Lineman within one (1) year from the date of hire.

Salary range is $35.94/hr. - $46.00/hr. DOE.
