Nushagak Electric & Telephone Cooperative, Inc. would like to inform our members that in our ongoing effort to supply high quality, reliable service we must engage in trimming and/or removing trees that present immediate or future problems along the power lines. During the winter inclement weather, trees and brush become heavy with snow and ice that can cause contact with the lines, causing intermittent outages. This clearing is necessary to help in the prevention of any outage. Employees will be marking trees with orange paint for future trimming or removal. This clearing is scheduled throughout out brief summer construction season. If you have questions or concerns regarding the clearing process, or you have trees that you would like removed, please feel free to contact our customer service office Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm at 842-5251.
